OP, I have not tried Herbalife specifically and don't know the merits of the product.

But I have to wonder how good the stuff can be if the manufacturer can't sell it except as part of a pyramid scheme.

Herbalife, shacklee, and the grand champion - Amway. I’ve known lots of people suckered into these schemes. OP - don’t buy any more once you run out. You can get better elsewhere. And if it’s a relative selling it, I’m sorry.

I used it when I was desperate to lose weight after my second child was born. I did lose about 20lbs in 2 months and was thrilled but as a stay at home mom I couldn’t afford to keep using it. I gained all the weight back plus interest when I started eating normally again. The worst part is that because it was so low calorie (figured around 800 cals/day after the fact) I know I lost precious muscle mass along the way and when I gained back it was all fat so my body fat % is higher and I look heavier at the same weight. You can lose in a healthier way, and train yourself along the way on how to eat properly, by eating a balanced diet at the keeping track of the amount of calories your body really needs.
