I’m in!! Since getting a desk job, my weight has gone up 10 kgs, from 70kg to 80kg. I tried dieting without counting calories as I previously had a unhealthy relationship with food, but it wasn’t working. That’s why I’m back here. I’ve made a $500 bet with a friend to go to the gym 3x a week, and will use the exercise plus goal of 9000 steps per day to shed this weight!5

I'm down 95 pounds from 4 years ago when I started my weight loss journey. Took me a while ! Learned a lot !
My SW for this is 160. My GW is 135.

@ airstruck - I lost my first 20 by doing 8000 steps a day. I did it while I was at work on all three of my breaks and by counting calories. 10,000 is a great step goal!3

I need to do this as well. I do great for a few days, then backslide for a month. I am stuck at 165 at 5'9, so 20 pounds down would put me at goal weight. Lets do this ladies, we can do anything we set our minds too.6

I've been a regular tracker since Mar 2012. At 6'-5', I began at 238. This week I decided to get serious about losing fat I don't need, or want. Down 8 lbs, and redefining everything about food needs, and consumption amounts. Radically reducing them, and no more in front of TV! Stabilizing (minimal, but regular) exercise routine. Down 8 lbs, to 211.6.6

I'm also doing sober October and I found pomegranate juice is the perfect red win substitute ...
... but is 150 calories in 8 ounces!!!! Ugh.

Sigh. Staying accountable, good or bad. First weigh in, 206.7. That's over 2 lbs MORE than last week. But its that lovely time as a women and my hubby and I celebrated our anniversary by going to Salem MA yesterday. Did a LOT of walking but didn't eat great. Still tracked, still weighed in.... not getting discouraged. My mantra: WEIGHTLOSS IS NOT LINEAR
Seeing the scale go up usually does me in, and then I give up. Not this time!11 -

I have been diligent all week... so I had a treat meal,
9 hour smoked ribs on cherry wood (just salt and pepper) ... homemade fries with garlic aioli. Spicy hot v8 to drink.6 -

I only cooked them because I had potatoes in my fridge growing eyes. Time to go. Hubby is type 1 diabetic, we never eat potatoes.4 -
