I've done this. I also dreampt at the same time that someone else had moved me from my bed and turned the house upside down in the process. We argued about that for years1 -

It's a scary to me to realize that loss of control
Once I was staying at someone else's place, alone, and I woke in the morning and found that I had dumped the contents of a drawer out and ripped up a bunch of the persons photos. I felt like surely someone must have come into the apartment and done that, but the inside lock was in place...no denying it was me.3 -

I can hear "something" scratching and scurrying in the walls, or ceiling...hmmm

It never got better. I just remember how sad it was, I kept watching for one or two seasons after this, but could never get back into it. All that time...and she was in the dang barn!!1
