    Are you crash dieting?

    This diet comes with cravings.

You might find better success with a modest deficit.

This means feed the crave within reason.

There’s not that many calories in a single hard candy and you can take your time consuming it.

Don't eat too few calories/have too many restrictions. A moderate calorie deficit will allow you to lose weight without having to succumb to compensatory binges.

Build it into your plan, leave some calories specifically for an evening treat.

By "crash dieting," do you mean "eating only some extremely small number of calories, like between 450 - 1200 cal/day"; or "eating according to plan all day, but then giving into nighttime cravings for sweets and 'crashing' your diet"?

Yeah, crash dieting suggests VLCD which is sort of a “no no” around here. Best to stay away from stuff like that at the risk of getting your question closed down or worse doing significant damage to yourself. And likely not having sustainable weight loss.

Slow, steady and maintainable are the key words for weight loss.
