I am weighing in on the First and the Last day of each month for a full monthly results total.
Highest Weight Ever: 253 ( in 2014/2015)
Original starting weight - 235 (on Jan 11, 2018)
Ultimate goal – 145 lbs by Valentine’s Day. By March 15, 2019 I hope to weigh no more than 153 after an initial and expected water weight gain after transitioning off my diet. I am allowing for (hopefully no more than) 8 pounds for the water weight.
October starting weight - 174.0
October goal - 5 lb Loss to be at 169.0
October Actual End Weight: 177.2 Not good. Lots of travel this month. November should start much better!

Oct 08: 174.8 Well, that’s not what I was hoping for! I’ve got to start moving more again to create the deficit.
Oct 15: 175.4 I forgot to post yesterday, but I weighed in. Not so good. I need to remember that nothing tastes as good as healthy feels!
Oct 22: 177.8 Spent a few days at my DB’s house following his surgery and stayed completely off plan with the diet and the exercise. But I was happy to see him and to be able to help. Prepping food today to get back on the horse here. My plan is to be able to type my weight next week in red instead of green ink!
Oct 29: 177.0 Lots of travel this past week with lots of food and water retention. However, I managed to pull it back around just in time for todays weigh-in. I will be weighing in again on the 31st to show the entire months loss (or more likely—gain).

Final Thoughts: Lots of travel this month. Ended with a controlled gain. I will be starting November with much better chances of success! See you there!

On the hibernation issue I've gone and bought myself some good thermals and a couple of warm new sports tops. It is so tempting to just cosy up and eat cake 😁1

I forgot to weigh-in before my hike and after it--plus I had a looooong day today! I practically ate my weight in Halloween candy. Oops! I know the sugar is going to swell me up good! I'm going drink a lot of water, take some Nutritional Yeast (B-vitamins) and elevate my feet. I'll weigh-in on Saturday, but I'll count it for Oct instead of Nov. Either way, we made it! Now, get off of your rear and keep moving!

I forgot to weigh yesterday with all the Halloween excitement. I have been bouncing between 146-149 all month, which is kind of expected with eating around maintenance a lot this month (and over yesterday with all the candy). I think I am actually ok with maintaining in this range for now. I do still have a few vanity pounds to go, and still technically an overweight BMI, but I need a break from being in a calorie deficit. Still plan on tracking though.3 -
I forgot to check in yesterday for month end. Steady at 200.8 on average for the last 7 days. Been up and down since Sunday. Onward to November!
On another note, October 29th, 1999 I was at my highest weight ever and decided to make a change. Never quite got to goal then but managed to hold about where I am now for most of 13 years, before I started gaining again between 2013 and 2015, and then in 2015 I decided to try again and here I am.
Never give up!
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
