First time here, going to lose 50lbs my way.

Hi

Recently came across My fitness pal and decided to give it a go. My weight started to shoot up about 3 years ago after completely tearing my ACL whist playing football, I'm now trying to lose around 50lbs, I'm a huge believer that people need to lose weight their own way and for me i'm just not into fad diets or smashing the gym every day I just find it incredibly tedious. Instead rightly or wrongly I'm aiming to lose weight by eating less, managing my calories and exercising more but doing it a way I enjoy, mainly team sports and leading a more active lifestyle. My knee injury has restricted what sports and exercise I've been able to do but recently discovered Korfball which through use of a knee brace I've been able to play without too many problems :)

Always looking for inspiration and hopefully to get to know some of you !

    You can do it! It’s hard when you have to adjust your routine around new limitations, I’ve been struggling with similar issues. This is a great place to do your own thing but still have support and tools. Welcome :)
