I know we've done this before but I love these posts, they give me some great ideas... and I'm kind of stumped for tonight, getting bored with the same foods week after week! I need to mix it up.

Thanks! :flowerforyou:

Ground turkey, half onion,5 potatoes diced in small bites,i can of diced tomatoes, one small tomato sauce. Salt and peper. and a bit of poulty seasoning. Oh cooked in the crockpot.
I used to do it with groundbeef but turkey has less calories and my family do not noticed the diffrence.

Broiled steak and veggies, maybe a side of rice but really trying to get away from too many carbs.

I'm having thyme, garlic and lemon roast chicken and homemade gravy with a side salad. It gives me plenty of leftover chicken for the rest of the week.

My almost 7-year-old son and I are going on a date tonight. He loves Hooters believe it or not (it's the snow crab legs that get him that this point, the other legs will grab him late on in life). So I'm looking at salad vinegar and oil with steamed shrimp...and great times with a great little man.

I'm thinking diced boneless skinless chicken breast, brown rice, cream of chicken soup...baked all together. Some canned green beans from the garden and yams.

How do you make your curry chicken?

My family recipe requires a cream sauce.. would love a lower cal version of that!

I use Jamaican curry powder. I use a couple of heaping tablespoons, 1 onion finally chopped, about 5-6 cloves of garlic, and salt and pepper. I used to add coconut cream but I've removed it to save on calories. I add all of these ingredients (including the chicken) and let sit and marinade for several hours before cooking on the stove top in a dutch pot.

If you need more detail, pm me.

:ohwell: Hamburger Helper. I'll have salad with it with Lighten Up Balsamic Viniagrette. Heavy on the salad, light on the Helper. Gotta go with what we got!

I like their dragonfire chicken. I don't know the exact nutritional info, but I remember it not being wreaking total sabotage!!

The closest Friday's to us is about 30 miles away. Boy, am I glad!! I'd want to eat there all the time.

For dinner, I'm just having a 6 inch roasted chicken sub from Subway... no cheese, tomatoes, onions, lots of vinegar, oregano and *maybe* a little southwest sauce.

Maybe that's the quantity of beans, not the variety.

chicken fajita over greens. I don't care for the wrap so much as I love the flavor of the chicken, onions & peppers so I just toss them into my salad. I found a new recipe for seasoning instead of the packet so I'm excited to try it.
