Vegan turning fat into muscle

Hi. I'm shanequa (shae) I'm about 5'3 around 195lbs this year I transitioned to vegetarian and now vegan for the past 6-7mnths. My weight really isn't a problem for me (numbers don't matter) I just don't want to have loose flabby skin. My goal is to maintain my size as much as possible while I build muscle. Any vegans out there. What do you eat to stay on track???

You can't turn fat into muscle, but you can certainly gain muscle. You'll want a resistance training program -- either weights or body weight resistance. Without knowing your specific situation, many people find that when they begin regular and consistent resistance training, they're much happier with how their body looks (it was certainly the case for me).
What do you mean by "stay on track"? I eat lots of beans, grains, vegetables, tofu, tempeh, seitan along with some fruit, plant oils, and other vegan foods and I feel like I'm on a pretty good track. Do you have specific issues or concerns with your diet?4 -

Whatever you want, as long as you stay within your calorie allowance. Hitting your protein is pretty important, too.7 -
You can't turn fat into muscle.
You can lose fat to make your muscles more visible. And you can increase the size of the muscle you have.
But fat doesn't turn in to muscle. On the reverse, when you gain fat, your muscle didn't turn into fat. You may be gaining fat making your muscle less visible or losing muscle mass because of inactivity, or a combo of both.
But fat is fat and muscle is muscle and they don't become the other.3 -
It is totally possible to gain muscle on a vegan diet. As you gain muscle your fat percentage will lower! Here are some tips https://www.veganfoodandliving.com/15-top-tips-building-lean-muscle-vegan-diet/1

Noone is suggesting you can't gain muscle on a vegan diet, they are saying you can't turn fat into muscle which is a common misconception. You have to lose fat and build muscle.9
