I am very new to this and would like to train for 10k. I think I can be successful if I have a like-minded friend to train with. I am not very active physically and want to take slow but steady.

I'm on week 8 of Cto10k. I repeated week 6 a few times (mental block) but am moving forward. It increases slower than C25k, until it blasts ahead.0

I highly recommend you go over to the November 2018 Monthly Running Challenge thread. They are super supportive and there are runners of all ability from absolute beginners like me to people who run ultra marathons. Are you already a runner or just getting started?1
