I could never sleep with socks. Actually, I have this strange habit of sticking my foot out of the covers to regulate my body temperature. Socks would ruin that experience for me.

Ditto. I clean as I cook too. I would even wipe and polish the stainless steel fridge after removing or stocking it. Smudged surfaces and clutter rubs me the wrong way.
