I decided to have a chipotle burrito bowl for lunch today and instead of devouring the whole 800 calorie meal ( i always assume the amount of rice they give is double the posted nutritions page, does NOT look like 4oz) I ate half and saved the rest for dinner
I jogged 25 minutes on Thursday (thanks C25K!)
I’m a tiny bit hungover but I got up anyway and went to body pump and even upped my squat weight a bit 😊
This is so sad. I'm old--and my favorite pants are LLBean Perfect Fit Pants. They are comfy--they have pockets--they sit at my waist and not around my butt--I LOVE THEM. So a couple of months ago they had a pair online and in clearance, my others were almost worn through so I ordered my regular size. Today I finally got around to wearing them--and you guessed it--they are too big. And they don't even shrink. I guess my sister is getting them for Christmas.
I had a pair if old jeans that I haven't worn in at least 6 years but I refused to get rid of them. Tried them on a few times but they were just too snug to be comfortable. Today I tried them again they fit! We had a community event that I wore them to. Walked around in them all morning and didn't feel uncomfortable at all!
It takes me a much shorter time to walk the same distance with my dog now! Lol but now we need longer walks.
Last time I noticed this happen was when I was walking an hour both ways to school in -17°F. Got it to 45 min by the end if the semester.

I checked my weight in the bmi calculator and my bmi is 25.6, it needs to be under 24.9 for healthy weight range and I'm so close its motivating me to lose these last kgs
So I'm happy for today because of that. I'm so close
I spent the day in NYC yesterday, and according to my Fitbit I walked 9.5 miles so I felt very comfortable going to my favorite gluten free bakery/cafe and totally ordering 3 of their amazing (large) cookies in different flavors and sharing them with my husband.
I ran! Just to then end of the drive and back but i ran!
That's all I could run 7 weeks ago and I felt like I was going to die, now I can for 52 mins. As soon as you get started, it gets surprising how quickly it gets easier and easier. At the moment, I don't find running much harder than walking, and it's heaps easier to run than it was to walk when I got my fitbit on July 3 this year. Then walking 2.7 km walking was agony.
Broke my swimming distance record again.
And shaved 9 minutes off the previous distance mark. Record was 17.6km.
More it is 20km. That took 7 hours and 9minutes. I don't think i'll try to break this record.
I shaved that morning and had 5 O'clock shadow when I was finished.
I walked a full 5k today!!! I was slow, but it's a new personal best regardless.
59 minutes to go 3.24 miles.
I'd love to be able to do 10k in that time eventually.
This was the first weekend in forever that I didn't have any restaurant meal, either dining out or food delivery. I usually struggle on the weekends to make good choices, but this one I made at least as good food choices as I did during the week, if not better.

3 miles an hour isn't fast but it's a good solid walking pace. Keep going, you will be amazed at how you progress! Consider trying c25k, it sounds like you would be ready for it!

We walk at the same pace!! From experience it seems for every 10 lbs lost my pace increases by 1 min. Regardless if you are trying to lose weight or not you will improve over time. Congrats on today's PB!
I went to the mall to buy "riding" boots yesterday. I managed to squish one foot in a boot, the other wasn't happening. How is this an NSV? Even though the boots were too small, they were NORMAL calf, not WIDE calf. In that, I consider it a NSV!
