Converting a smart watch to a clip-on???

I have a Garmin Forerunner 935 and love it. I don't use the HRM when I'm not exercising so having it on my wrist is not necessary. I do like the pedometer and smart phone features of the watch and want to use it daily but would like to convert it to a clip to wear on my waistband during the day or sports bra when I exercise. I've searched amazon and the Garmin website and haven't found a specific product for this. Before I invest a fortune in experiments, anyone do this with their smartwatch? Thanks for the suggestions!!!

I can't speak to the 935 specifically, but that won't work with some devices. It matters how they use motion to estimate steps. If it's taking arm movement into account as part of the estimation, you won't get good pedometer results.

Unless you already have, I'd suggest checking Garmin support, or doing an experiment, to see if it will give you usable output, before worrying about the mechanics of wearing it differently.

    Good luck!
