I would stick with not talking about your weight loss at all at work.5

I'd stop talking about it at work. 🤷🏼♀️1

The thing is, I really don't though unless asked, sometimes they ask me what i lost this week etc and I will respond but I never openly tell them1

People are nuts.
I found weight loss to be a solitary pursuit. Less said the better.8 -

I'd shift the conversation elsewhere. Eventually they will get the point.2 -

From now on I'd answer with 'i haven't... nice weather isn't it?'1 -
1. Co-worker shouldn't have yelled at you. But...
2. You should probably stick to not talking about weight-related issues at work (along with politics and religion - those are the big 3).5 -

If that happens again, ask them how much they gained this week2 -
Just to add, people are mean... groups of women are especially mean....
Alternate a soft drink with an alcoholic drink on your Christmas do and enjoy!1 -

(Don't actually do that)1 -

*kitten* yes! I work in an office comprised of 8 women, no men at the moment. It's a wonder we haven't burned to the ground yet...2 -

^^^ I agree with all of the above! I can relate, the minute I started talking about this stuff at work (my weight-loss journey has been on & off for about 4 years at the same job), everyone ALWAYS has an opinion or an off-handed comment.
Just don't talk about anything food/weight related. Keep it to yourself.
And if you have a social media you're sharing this stuff on, make sure they're not following you (or block them from your content, or create a separate account if it's Instagram, etc.) - that could be the culprit for their "explosion." I had a coworker following my fitness account & it caused an unnecessary amount of drama.2 -
Wow if someone yelled at me like that I'd have a huge problem0

At work, talk about work...0

I absolutely have. I managed medical secretaries and holy crap they could talk for hours. I just never got involved.2

Better yet, don't add co-workers to social media unless it's a career-oriented account (real estate, for example). All my co-workers know that's my policy, and if a new one tries to add me I just reject it and let them know in person that it's nothing against them; I just keep my social media circle to personal friends and family.4 -
@shaf238 It's the worst isn't it. There's only 5 of us in a small office so I get to hear it all whether i want to or not, wish we could use earphones lol2

This is why I work with mostly blokes now LOL1

Holy smokes! The same thing has been happening to me at work too! I'm 35, lost 125 pounds with another 50 to go until goal and all my 55+ coworkers are criticizing me for it! They're all like "Oh you could eat some cake it's okay" (after I have politely declined!), "Oh you don't need to lose anymore weight" (like they have any idea!) or they just roll their eyes at me and go "Oh please! Stop it, your fine the way you are." Honestly, Lauren, I think they're just jealous of us. We have a much easier time losing weight because we are younger with faster metabolisms. I understand where you're coming from, but try not to take it personally because it's really not about you. But I hear ya, girl! Stupid haters. They really are gonna hate!7 -

Really? You're gonna throw age in there?
I'm over 55 and I don't judge peoples' bodies (out loud )
People have no filter about so many things...way too much over-sharing from way too many people, older and younger. It would be great if we all just were quieter in general, KWIM?5 -

Umm...yeah, no. Possibly they are jealous. Or maybe they think they're being nice and complimenting your weight loss in a roundabout way. Metabolic changes from 35 to 55+ have minimal impact, if any at all, on weight loss.5
