    I really want a Shiba Inu but it wouldn’t be fair, I too don’t have the time. I had a boxer growing up and they are such great dogs but not with small children as they pounce (in a playful way) although can still hurt the little ones. I have never heard of people not being able to have dogs around small kids before though. That’s kind of sad. Is it a rule strictly enforced?

    Statistics show that 80% of dogs that are adopted into homes with children younger than 8yrs old are returned... And I think it's about 80% of the time, it's because they bit the kid

    Here dog foster families want to inspect your home and make it really difficult... Most won't even take your application if you have small kids, or if they do... You really have no chance...

    I get it tho I guess... I tried several years ago and just gave up when I switched careers...
