near- kitty death-experience

I went in to work early this morning and thus came home early. I'm greeted by this weird sounding meow from one of my cats that almost sounded like HELLOOOO. I come around the corner and I see my poor kitty with his head completely stuck in a little chip bag. He was bumping his head into the corner of the room trying to get it off.

I pulled it off and his head was soaked with sweat/drool....it was so funny but at the same time my poor kitty! I don't know how long he had it on his head, but just before I took it off I could see the bag getting sucked in by his mouth as he was trying to breathe! I normally wouldn't have been home for another hour and a half, I would imagine it was entirely possible that he would have suffocated if it was stuck much longer. I almost NEVER come home early, makes me sad to think what I might have come home to.

    good thing..i guess it wasn't him time to go yet, so you got there early for a reason :) glad he is ok

    Awww...I'm so sorry! I hope he'll be totally okay and I'm glad you went home early in time to rescue him. Made me sad just reading your story! We love our babies don't we?!?!?
