100 Day Challenge.....You Game???

SO my cousin and I started this back in April or May if you have ever watched the MTV show "I used to be Fat" it gives high school graduates 100 days to drop weight and get in shape and healthier. Well anyway it's motivating and amazing to watch. SO I know there are a crap ton of these out there, well at least I've seen other posts about it and well MINE starts TOMORROW. I have my post-it note countdown written from day 100 (8/20/11) to day 0 (11/28/11) August to November -- not as long as you may think. This 100 days is going to be getting back to the basics....calorie counting as BEST you can; Drinking your WATER; working out 3-5+ days a week doing cardio and weights at LEAST 30 minutes a day. You can do this. WE can do this. I can NOT promise to hold anyone accountable because hey I'm a college senior and I freaking can't spend time worrying about 932480293840928 other people, if you friend me and are doing this challenge with me I'll motivate as best I can but I can't log onto this message board every day. Sorry But I can't. So I encourage you to join me to see what can happen in100 days. I know there will be some days that aren't perfect but we aren't perfect are we? Just accept it and move on with your day. My 100 day challenge begins when I wake up in the morning. Will you join me?

  • Absolutely!! Need to be accountable...and that time frame is almost perfect for me to slim down for vacation!!
  • I'm in. New at joining challenges though, how does our team keep tabs and cheer one another on? Do we all "friend" one another? Can we start some kind of group within MFP?
    Thanks for this, I particularly need the additional structure. I'm deep into my food and water counting and the exercise needs a big kick in the rear end!! (my rear end....)

    I have to re-nig on it for one day. Due to a series of unfortunate, unexpected, and unprepared for events, today was BAD. (not to mention I've been sick all day =[ ) I have to start 2 days later than everyone else *cry* I'll be finishing up on 11/30/11 -- good luck everyone else!

    Soooo, most of the challenges I've been in have specific days to weigh in, report back, etc, etc, etc. Will we do the same? I just don't want to get mixed up and miss a weigh-in. Thanks. ~G.Mouse

    I know i'm a little late, but i'd love to join in too :)

    100 days is perfect...plus then i can count them down on the calendar :) That will hopefully keep me motivated.

    My challenge today is going to be to try to make WATER a habit... This is probably the hardest thing for me is to drink ALL of my water every day. Today I will DO IT !!! Have a great day everyone!

  • Hi all! Just wanted to post an update...I started the 30 day shred by jillian michaels today and it is crazy hard at first! I also did 180 of my Tae-Kwon-Do kicks, trying to do 1800 in 2 months before next testing and had a few days to catch up. So with all that I was under in calories for the day and probably will not be able to move. However, I am determined to do this 100 day challenge! Day 3 - CHECK!!!

    quick update:

    i've walked 15.6 miles this week. lost 2 pounds and 1.5 inches off of my chest.


    how's everyone else doing?

    great job yall!!! I have swam two days this week am swimming 3 this week for class and got out my bike and rode 2 miles one day this week but with the hurricane and church activities I couldn't ride this weekend. haven't weighed though

    I've started a ChaLEAN Extreme/Insanity hybrid and I'm really enjoying it. Also, I'm running about 4 days a week. I set a goal to burn 15,000 calories by the end of the month and I'm only a little over 1,000 away.

    I guess a lot of us have been doing well but not sharing. I dont know the day, but I made my mini goal of being 160 by Monday Sept 12th! Yay!!
