Jogging and EarBuds

I've just started jogging and I can't manage to keep my earbuds in place. Between the bouncing around and the sweating I'm grabbing for them every 60 seconds or so. Anyone know any tricks or if there are different types that you can get at sporting goods stores?

i prefer the ones that look kinda like a cone...they stay put in my ears when im doing run/walk intervals.

I have a pair of headphones that hook over the ear.

    They are these:
    http://www.amazon.com/Memorex-EC100-Over-Ear-Active/dp/B001GGK5G6/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1313850636&sr=8-17

I hate ear buds because no matter what I just can't keep them in while sweating and jogging.

Try the behind the head or the ones that hook around the ear. I actually just put my ipod onto external speaker when I am outside running.

get the kind that actually hook over your ears... they still have the bud bit, but, have hooks to keep them in place... they stay put, and aren't as bulky as the full on earmuff type :)
i know Sony used to make awesome 'sport' type, i haven't found them for a while, but, other companies make them
  • I prefer the over the ear headphones. They kind that hook over. I tried the behind the head ones and found I couldn't turn my head from side to side :/

Adidas makes a great line of headphones that are sweat resistant and have great audio.
  • my friend in high school used these ones that were a circular shape... they wrap around the top and back of your ear. IDK what they are called though

I spent $70 on wireless headphones...they are so wonderful that I don't have a problem with them slipping out of my ears, off my head or to deal with wires. It is the best investment when you are using them for walking, running or exercising and you know the routine you are going to do.

Those look cool... I don't know about you but the round buds hurt my ears really bad so the jelly would be my next tryout

Thanks for the feedback! I'll check them out. Until I find something it looks like the external speaker will be the way to go.

You can get the ones that hook over your ear.................I have a silly friend who puts earbuds in her ear an then puts a piece of scotch tape across her ear to keep them in place. Crazy but I love her!
