Has anyone tried this program before? Does it look like it has been thought out well? I'm a female and would like tone up my glutes and stomach. Does it seem like it would be a good program to follow? https://www.katiecorio.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/12weekbikinichallenge.pdf?inf_contact_key=9597afe94933b01f0508d586ef41fc3792f3aaa8674d3878b3c39fb2cb9e65a7
I wanted to try Bret Contrera's Strong Curves program but I don't like full body splits I prefer something like upper and lower so I can put emphasis on a certain body part.

At a quick glance it looks like a typical bodybuilding split. Could you make progress on it? Maybe. I find the best progress is made if you are hitting each body part at least twice a week. What do you do after the 12 weeks? I just ask because 12 weeks is not enough to really accomplish very much. Also you really don't need any of those supplements. I would recommend adequate protein 0.8-1g per lb lean body mass or lb goalweight (if you want to try a protein powder to hit that goal that is fine). But please don't buy into thinking you need all of those.

Strong Curves is great (it is what I used when I started), and the way it is designed it is ultra effective, but if it is a matter of preference you can check out this link for other workout program options.

I've only been weight lifting for about 5 months. Do you think since I am still somewhat of a beginner I should try full body workouts and then once I become more lean try body splits?

Sure. I mean I do recommend full body but a well designed upper lower split can be effective too, especially if you prefer it and it gets you excited and motivated to go to the gym. A body part split is typically reserved for well advanced lifters, bodybuilders, etc.

Will I still be able to make progress if I do body splits?

Do you have weight to lose, or are you wanting to maintain your weight to change your body composition? It depends on your goals but you can make progress with split programs, many people do.. but for many they don't see the results they want.

I want to change my body composition. I'm too soft, I'd like to become more toned.
