Okay so I’m curious about Ultraslim I know stuff like that might be frown upon but my mother is to bad off in health to do much excerising
On the other hand for myself I’m in a bit of a pickle see I feel like I’m gaining weight even though I sleep 5-8 hours a day(mostly 5) I’m a carpenter now and I go to the gym Monday Wednesday and Friday (I hit it hard 3 days a week) and I do an active hobby (karate) Tuesday and Thursday and now I also do 5k couches Tuesday and Thursday too and all of my daily meals are under 2100 calories
So I’m just a Lil curious on why I feel like I’m gaining weight I went from size 48 in the waist and 36 in length to 38 waist and 36 in length but now my 38s feel tight around the calves and thigh area and it makes me think I gain weight I wasn’t skinny to began with but I’ve worked hard losing it and I don’t want it to come back if anybody can explain why that would be awesome (also for health aspects I don’t eat fried food and I drink mainly water and diet lepton peach tea and I have moderate to low sodium I also take daily vitamins so it shouldn’t be holding water or gas 🤷🏼♂️

'feel like' you're gaining, or is the scale up?4

Agreed. Bloating can make you feel faster but it's mostly water weight. Since you're in your feet a lot, your may be retaining water in your legs. Or you may have put on some muscle in your legs. Or you may have put back on some weight.
If you aren't already, you may want to get a weight trending app. If the difference is small, you'll be able to better have an idea if you're losing, maintaining, or gaining. If you're not weighing yourself at all and your not taking measurements or pictures, your clothes really are the only way to tell where your weight is at. It's not a bad way to measure necessarily since most common ways to measure are at least somewhat inaccurate, but it isn't going to be as quickly obvious that your weight is trending in a direction you don't want.2 -

Exercise isn't required for weight loss. I lost most of my ~140 pounds of excess weight without exercise. What is required is to consume fewer calories than the body uses. My advice is for your Mom to start from how she likes to eat and experiment with eating smaller portions of high-calorie foods, larger portions of low-calorie foods (for volume), and/or finding lower-calorie substitutions for high-calorie foods that are still satisfying. A little here and there can go a long way toward reducing calorie intake while still feeling like you are eating essentially the same way you've always eaten.
ETA: I looked up Ultraslim because I was thinking that it was something like Slimfast but evidently it's purportedly a laser liposuction or red light therapy? Was that what you were asking about? Ultraslim looks like a way for people of normal or almost-normal weight to be relieved of their money in the hopes of getting rid of a bit of fat.6 -

@seska yeah it’s the bottom one and I’m not entirely sure i just know she wants to do something lol 🤷🏼♂️
@skram01 I’m not currently weighting myself weekly it’s just a feeling I’m not sure like I guess it could be bloating or holding water cause I can still wear my pants through out the day it’s just feels tighter sometimes and looser other times
@amy thanks!1 -

If you're gaining weight with your activity level and 2100 calories, you're eating more than 2100 calories.
I'm female, probably decades older and well as shorter, have a desk job, and can lose weight with 2100 calories (which includes some exercise calories, but I am not nearly as active as you are.)
There are mistakes that people commonly make that cause them to not lose weight that we might be able to spot if you change your Diary Sharing settings to Public: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings1
