Hi,

22 years old, 174cm and 103 kg... Eating 1300 cal per day. Working 12 hours per day as a care assistant (3-5 days a week) in care home - dementia and nursing.

Moderate active??? I decided to start tomorrow. My goal is to lose 25-30 kg until the end of the summer 2019.

Sometimes I dont even eat 1300 cal per day because I CAN NOT and burn much more. what are your opinions?

    You did not get to 103kg by eating less than 1300 calories and there is certainly no reason for someone your age and activity level to do so now.

    Many people who claim they can't eat as much as they should are eating low fat versions of things. Just use the whole fat versions and eat properly.

    How often are you getting exercise? I'd try and be more consistent on getting the same amount of calories a day just so you can see how you feel/body changes.

    just as I said; sometimes i eat even less, because I dont feel hungry during the day 🙂 I know when is enough.. And when is enough and less than 1300 cal and i try eat more, i dont feel well in my stomach 🙂 point

    For now I dont exercise. It's only work, 12 hours on my feet and walking around and all. Just today I bought watch to see how much calories I burn :)

    You need to weigh all the food you are eating and log it daily to see how many calories you are really ingesting. One of the issues seen with people who feel they are eating that low and not losing weight is that they are having a "cheat" day which far exceeds the deficit they created on the low calorie days. If you are doing that I would suggest stopping and eating a slightly higher amount of MEASURED calories daily. At your age and height you should be able to create a deficit on more calories than 1300 and still have a reasonable weight loss. Make sure you log absolutely everything you eat. That's the only way you will truly know how much you are eating. Patience is then the key. It takes time to lose and it is well worth the time it takes. You will learn so much along the way.
