Hey all, hope everyone had a great Xmas! I'm thinkng about incorporating a daily planner into my routine. It needs to be all encompassing and must have a fitness section. Food diary isn't important as I use MFP for that. I saw one a while back that was sort of motivational, building a better you kinda thing. Anyone have any good suggestions? Not looking to spend $50 like some I've seen but something $20-25 would be worth it.

I've got something that will cost you $3.99
Buy 2 notebooks, one for weekly and one for daily. Each Sunday, write your whole to do list for the week.
Every Sunday, write your goals for the week in notebook one. Everything goes on there. Lose 2lbs. Grocery shop. Buy the wife a gift. Knockout 4 workouts this week. Scotch with a friend you haven't seen in 6 months. Save $100 from this paycheck.
Every night, look at your weekly goals and write tomorrows plan in the other notebook. Cross it off as you do it. Even small crap like clean the bathroom. Trust me it helps to cross stuff off even if it seems meaningless.
It will add up. You can even do a monthly one, but I wouldn't really worry beyond that. If you set long term goals in your head, break them down into short term on paper, and then daily and cross it off, you'll get everything done you wanted to get done and more. Try it.4 -
I can never find a planner that has everything I need so I started a bullet journal. Google and Pinterest have ideas for sections but it's a great way to personalize a planner for all your needs! And it's inexpensive.2

I would like to see a bunch of pictures of others bullet journals on health/fitness. I’m thinking of starting one.0 -

Great Ideas, I was hung up on buying a premade one because I didn't really know where to start, but didn't think about just looking for ideas on the pages I'd like to have. I'd like to see some bullet journal examples too. As much as I hate pinterest, I'll have to check it out
One reason I want to give this a try is because when I used to Install Fire and Security alarms I had a daily planner for scheduling my appointments, and I was really prompt and organized. I need more of that in my life, with some self accountability also.0 -
I was thinking the same thing.. and found an app I'm considering. They actually came up with an idea I had after photographing my food. It is called youate. it is a picture log of what you eat all day. I found by photographing my food and myself I stayed more on track and motivated than counting calories0
