Ok I need help. How do you figure out calories for a home cooked meal? There wasn't any exact measurement so I am having a difficult time. I am cooking tuna casserole and the ingredients are mozzarella cheese, egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, peas, and of course tuna. Can someone help and are there any alternatives?

I measure/weigh everything that goes into a recipe. It’s a little tedious but it’s really the only way to know.4

If you haven’t made the casserole yet, you could weigh all of your ingredients individually to get the exact number of calories for each item. Then put into the recipe builder and divide it by the number of servings. If you already baking it, you could use cups, teaspoons, or whatever measurement you’ve already used, to do this. To get a more precise measurement of the serving size, weigh your portions as well.
The recipe builder is your friend. Try to stay away from other user-entered items if you can because there isn’t really a way to know exactly what they put in it.5 -
use the recipie builder and input each ingredient.

Use the recipe builder - enter the ingredients and set your serving size to total weight (cooked) in Oz (or grams)3

To expand on this, the weight of my rice and beans (total weight - pot weight) was 1920 grams.
(0.00 slices of bacon b/c I left it out this time due to using a pound of hamburger instead. My OH complained about the lack of meat last time I made this.)
I ate 250 grams, and so logged 250 grams as number of servings.3 -
