I’ve lost 70lbs over this past year but I’m struggling so much to keep going. I have no support. Everyone is only making this harder for me. I feel like I’m going crazy and I’m afraid that I just might give up. What do I do???

How much more do you need to lose? Have you taken a diet break lately?

Is anyone at all being supportive?

How about switching to maintenance for six months to see how that feels? Seventy pounds is a remarkable achievement and it would be great if you could maintain this for a while so you get used to your new lighter body.

How about adding a new activity?

You remember why you are doing it in the first place, and keep going :) You are the one in control of this. Not anyone else.

It sounds like you need a diet break! Set your calories to maintenance. Stick to that until you feel like you're ready to get back to weight loss. This is an infinitely better option than giving up and gaining back what you've lost.

    Good luck!

What are you struggling with? Are you feeling lonely, or are people around you trying to push you to eat things you don’t want to eat? Or something else?

Forget everybody else, do this for yourself. Like people say, switch to maintenance, give the dieting a break but don't gain it back, will feel much worse in the long run, I have been there too many times myself. Sometimes the best support we can receive is from our own self.
