I switched from apple to Android and I can't seem to get my steps from my fossil smart watch to connect... Any tips and or tricks?

Hi Lindsay, I was curious if you were able to get your fossil watch connected yet? I’m having the same issue but can’t even figure out how to get my device connected.

I have a Skagen Connected (Hybrid Smart Watch) which is same company as Fossil. As the 'Skagen Connected' app doesn't link directly to MFP I had to set it up to go via Google Fit which involved the following steps:

    1. Install the 'Skagen Connected' app (or the Fossil version of the app for you)
    2. Connect the 'Skagen Connected' app to my Google Fit. (again the Fossil version in your case)
    3. Connect Google Fit to MFP and select Goggle Fit it as your step counter.

Unless you're specifically going to be using it I recommend that you turn off activity tracking in Google Fit (activity tracking is different from step tracking) as for me this caused some issues where Google Fit would add duplicate and random workouts.

    G'luck
