How often do you eat sweets?

My weakness is ice cream. I usually eat one pint a week in one go as a sort of cheat, but I’m considering eating half a pint every couple days instead aka spacing it out. How often/what quantity of dessert do you have? Also, what’s your favorite?

I usually have something every evening. Pre-log 250-300 calories for whatever I want. Varies as to what it is: ice cream, cereal, candy bar, yogurt. I follow a weekly calorie goal so if I want something more calorie dense then I balance it out over the rest of the week. My favorite is brownies but I only make them every so often since I want to eat them all right-just-now; including the batter.
I don't consider them cheats as they fit my goals and I have an overall healthy diet. Never negatively impacted my losing or maintaining. As long as you can fit it into your calories and you're not crowding out important macros, enjoy what you want, whenever you can. :drinker:7 -
I have something pretty much every day. Maybe candy that is at work or whatever we have at home (cookies, cake, pastry, muffin, etc.)3

I have something most days, I have 100 cals treats in my drawer at work, I like the cereal bars or the fibre one cakes, my goto dessert is 10cal jelly and light squirty cream, this with a bit of fruit is generally about 100cals. Halo Top ice cream is excellent too.1

I have a sweet usually several days a week. Probably under 200 calories. I own a sweets business and my products are really good. So I have to do a ton of moderating. One of my favs is a tiny brownie with chocolate ganache.3

I eat "sweets" everyday...fruit. I usually eat fruits that are in season. Last couple of months it was pomegranates, this month it's good ole juicy naval oranges. I've also been eating 2 Cara Cara oranges daily, they are sooooo good and ultra mega SWEET too. Eating fruit "sooths" my sweet-tooth something wonderful.4

That would depend on a person's calorie allowance. A man with a calorie allowance of 1500 (rare) generally wouldn't be able to spare as many calories for treats in a balanced diet as a man with a 2500 allowance. A pint of ice cream a week certainly sounds reasonable, whether eaten in one sitting or more, and shouldn't be considered "cheating" as long as it fits your goals.
I have traditionally eaten more sweets than a balanced, nutritious diet would allow, so I'm not a great example, but I think many allow about 10% of their calories on such things. Of course, some will come along and say you shouldn't have any, but that is sad Mind you, the percentage of calories allotted to sweets is a health consideration, not necessarily a weight loss consideration (although most sweets tend not to be too filling for the calories).
I'm not too picky, but generally can't resist fresh baked goods in the house.2 -

At the moment none, I'm taking a break post holidays (not permanently, just unless my normal habits feel normal again and I'm not expecting something daily), but most of the time I was losing I ate about 200-250 calories of ice cream (about .25 of a pint) a few or even several days a week. Ice cream is also my favorite dessert. So probably about a pint/week, but not all at one go -- moderation works better for me.1 -
I would say almost everyday. A good serving of candy on lifting days (4-5x per week), and either a bowl of sweet cereal, ice cream (usually 1/3 a pint), a donut, cookies etc. depending on how many calories I have that day. On Sundays we usually have pancakes or waffles (with lots of fruit, syrup, jam, Nutella, cookie butter). My favourite would probably be donuts.2

At least once per day. I currently have in my apartment... Breyers choc chip ice cream, Talenti Gelato, Oreos, Honey Nut Chex, hot chocolate packets, and Dove Promises. I save calories for one of them as a before bed snack every night. I will also have a Fiber One brownie or some dark chocolate with my afternoon tea at work.
I'll have a Coke Zero 4 or 5 days a week.
And sometimes (usually) I have a strawberry Toaster Strudel with my coffee on Sunday morning4 -
Usually I have dessert after every meal, I love cookies, brownies, cake, ice cream you name it. I’m surprised I’ve actually never been over weight, but I know it probably isn’t good for my health. I’m working on cutting back a little bit, dessert once a day would probably be better..0

Every day really0

Every day, sometimes multiple times (two cookies over the course of the day for instance). It fits well within my allowance. What I don't do now is do a lot of baking. Baking, eating most of my baked goods, and not exercising is a big part of what lead to my gaining weight. Now I only bake every so often (on special occasions normally or for other people) and buy sweets from good bakeries. It means I get good baked goods while also not having a bunch of them in the house.
Things like chocolate and ice cream aren't especially tempting to me. I like them, but not nearly as much as good baked goods.1 -
pretty much every day....
i bake all the time but dont typically eat much of it. the husband and the boy eat it, and he takes what they wont eat to work. my neighbors get some sometimes, my friends.
people like being my friend. im a REALLY good baker LOL1 -
Rarely. I don’t have a big sweet tooth. I do keep a pint of Byers raspberry chocolate swirl in the freezer for when I get a craving though! But even then I keep to just one serving size.1

Pretty much every day. It may be an ice cream sandwich or Halo Top or a Fiber One bar. I do shoot for something that will give me protein, fiber, or iron, since I sometimes struggle to hit those targets.0

In most cases it is possible to fit in whatever “treats” appeal most to you - it’s just a matter of moderation. For me a can of original Coke is more of a treat than an ice cream, so those are what I leave room for. I also asked for specialty flavour Hershey’s Kisses in my Christmas stocking because, at only ~20 Cal each, I can afford a little something sweet pretty much any day.0

Everyday, I would find going to the gym and dieting so much more difficult if i dint allow myself some candies or a little cake. I've managed to lose 3st in a year so Thou shall not deny treats! xx2

i don't often have dessert unless i'm eating out and chocolate brownie is on the menu.
at home i have a low cal hot chocolate, or a fibre one brownie (cinnamon drizzle is my current favourite) if i want something after my evening meal.0 -
Most days I'll have either a dessert or a glass of wine or some other kind of treat. I just make sure whatever it is fits into my calorie goals.1

I don't have a set number of times. Sometimes I have sweets several times a day, other times I go weeks without. If I want it and it's worth the calories, I'll eat it, if other foods win the "worth it" battle, I won't eat it.
ETA:
Just wanted to share an experiment I did. I set up a random reminder to go off randomly 3 times a week, and for the reminder message, I had random sweets and snacky things I like listed as "reminder message" so the reminder would choose one every time it goes off. It was fun and exciting for a while not knowing when or what I will be eating for a snack. When the novelty wore off, I didn't like having to wait for whatever I wanted. I would do this again in the future for another run of random snacks when I'm in the mood for it again.1 -
I'm not a sweets person but I am big on salty/savory, so I set aside enough calories every day for one serving of something along those lines (lately it's been 140 calorie servings of Wheat Thin crackers).0
-
Every day. Usually chocolate or ice cream. I save 200-300 calories for dessert before bed and I look forward to it every day!0
-
I had two snickers minis this morning. Trying to cut down a bit on my portion. I think I ate half my calories in candy yesterday, lol. Been having some cravings, stayed under maintenance but I want to start making progress again.0
-
Fiber One bar (I have the brownie currently) and one piece of Dove dark chocolate caramel with sea salt.
Everyday, the last thing I eat.1 -
every day. usually 2x a day.0

Everyday I have about 300 calories allotted to sweets. I was buying the snack-sized candy but I noticed that I kept saying "what's another 80 calories?" and going over. So I bought full-sized candy, because I can't rationalize "What's another 210 calories?" so easily. But I still have 1 a day.3
-
Every day. Sometimes twice a day. I log it and make sure I am hitting my calories. If I can't hit my calories with it, I don't eat it and that is a very sad day for me1
-
Pretty much every day, even if it's only some graham crackers with a cup of tea.0
-
Almost daily. Might be a donut, or a cookie, or ice cream (especially ice cream), glass of wine... I just count it and make sure it fits in my day. And if It wont fit, and I want it bad enough I still have it, and re-sdjust my calorie goals for the next few days to make "room" for it.0
