Srsly, I don't know how invite friends

Help?! I can't find the instructions and want to invite some people. I can't figure it out. Can you help me? Do I have the dumb?


Edit to add:P.s. invite people to be friends on here. It is early on the east coast. I do has the dumb.

    To invite people from the iPhone.

    When in the community chat. Click their name. That will bring up a screen with some basic data. Click their name again. Then you will see a symbol that looks like add a friend. Click that fill out your name and a message. Then send.

    It’s harder than it needs to be (your not dumb).

    Hi There, welcome to the boards. I normally just click on the user's profile and there should be an "Add as Friend" green button on the right of their profile pic (on desktop - not sure if it is the same on mobile). Feel free to add me if you are just getting started.
