VENTING/ADVICE PLS

this isn’t right but i feel like going through a heartbreak and many problems in a shot amount of time really work to help you loose weight. yeah i know it’s not healthy weight loss but it’s something i can’t control. i’ve lost my appetite and all i want to do is stay in bed and sleep so i won’t have to deal with reality. it’s been three weeks since it happened and i still can’t seem to get over it. i don’t even know why i’m saying this on here but i just had to vent. hmmm whatever i’ll slowly get back on my feet and better myself.. not for anyone else but for me. i want to feel comfortable with my own body and that all starts with me but i just idk

Unfortunately, you can't control the events in your life, but you CAN control how you perceive and react to them. When encountering these setbacks- whatever they may be, choose to take control of your own path and turn it to a positive. It's ok to have a bad day or two- we all have them. But after that... go DO something. CLEAR your mind. MOVE forward. GROW from your bad experience. Go outside for a walk...in the sunshine, appreciate the little things in life (we sometime forget to do that), go to the gym... whatever you can to allow your body to produce those "good-for-you" endorphins. Laying around will only make you feel worse and place you in a full spiral downwards.
My daughter is a nurse at a local hospital and she just told me of a story of a guy 24 years old who got hit by a car as a pedestrian. Broke multiple bones, lost a leg and is in extreme pain. But she says the most amazing thing...he is the happiest guy she's ever had as a patient. All because he is sooooo thankful to be alive. All the other STUFF, is just STUFF. Get up, get moving, appreciate things .... you'll feel better7
