My fitness pal not recognizing food

For some reason myfitness pal is only letting me add foods that I have already used. It will not let me add food or use the bar code scanner for any new food. Is any one else having this issue?

    Yes I think that they are experiencing some technical difficulties

    There is no communication with fitness pal either as to when the outage will be fixed

    You get what you pay for. :-) Probably a lot of new users creating additional load on the server.

    well, I'm premium and it doesn't thrill me that they are having server issues

    I had the same issue yesterday and earlier today. I was able to add something new a couple of hours ago.
