So long red bulls !!

As the first of this year 2019 I have stopped drinking red bulls. It had way too much sugar and caffeine. Now I have the issue of being sleepy during my 12 hr shifts of work. Any suggestions for something I can drink or eat to give me energy? :)

I drink the Aldi sugar free version of them.

Only 8 calories and I like the caffeine

I have a horrible caffeine habit and I just get the sugarfree drinks instead (or black coffee with sweetener and skim milk)... but yeah, the regular ones are incredibly sugary

If you like Red Bull then sugar free Red Bull would be the obvious choice for reducing calories.
But if you are working at reducing your caffeine too then suggest you do it gradually rather than "cold turkey".

I LOVE Zipfizz. It's a powder with vitamins and caffeine that you add to water. I drink them daily at work - well I did but I recently retired. I like the Pink Lemonade flavor best and have to order those from Amazon. Sam's has several flavors but they are not ones I really like. Grape and Fruit punch I think = they are just too sweet for me. 10 calories each.

Just started drinking "bang" energy drinks. They work great without giving you the typical crash after a couple hours.

Perhaps work on your sleep hygiene instead or relying so much on caffeine.

As someone else mentioned ween yourself off caffeine gradually and stay hydrated to minimize withdrawal headaches.

    Best of luck.

They have sugar free red bull (which is what I drink just for preference of the taste). If you can drink espresso or very strong coffee black, that may be a good substitute.

Sugar Free Red Bull does the trick for me nicely, if I don't want to drink my caffeine I also have a tub of MyProtein Caffeine tablets which are pretty good value for money at 10 euro for 200 it's certainly more more cost effective than my Diet Coke or a Coffee.

Yep, my husband switched to these and says they taste close enough that he doesn't mind them. It's saving him calories and us a LOT of money!
