66 and need support to lose weight

Hi. I'm John. I'm 66 years old and want to lose 66 pounds. Since I retired 5 years ago, I've gained about 10 pounds each year. I'm determined to lose it, but need help. I live on beautiful Galveston Island, near Texas.

Looking for friends to give me support.
