I’ve been on my diet for about five months and I just wanted to add some excercise to my lifestyle so I joined a gym. Yet I’m not sure what exactly I should do, as a total beginner.

So if anyone could recommend a workout a totally beyond beginner could easily get behind?

Usually when you join a gym, they have a free personal training session included, check that out.

I've done this one in the past as a beginner and enjoyed it. Doing it again now after not going to the gym for pretty much the entire month of December.

That program is 4 days a week. I think there are other beginner programs on the website which are 3 days. If you click on the exercise name, it takes you to a video link on how to perform it.

I think it might be best if you can see if someone at the gym can kind of show you around and make sure you know how to use various equipment. I did this and it helped a lot! Happy working out!

Does your gym have exercise classes? Classes are a great way to integrate exercises as a beginner

If you are looking into weight lifting, read through the first few pages of this thread.

Lifting is the best way to build body composition, while cardio is the best way to burn calories. Shoot for a balance but find what you enjoy so you will keep doing it.

Remember the best exercise for you is the one you will actually keep doing.
