I’m just curious as to how many exercise calories people burn per day wether losing or maintaining weight.
I saw someone’s calorie burn from their Apple Watch and it said 1400 exercise calories burnt for that day 😳 I can just about burn 700 on exercise days.

Your body burns calories all day, not just when you are exercising. My daily calories are around 2400-2500 calories per day. And I don't do cardio.0

Apple Watch gives “active” calories. That’s calories burned when a person is being “active”. Active includes most (but not all) movement - not just purposeful exercise. I would be unusual for this number to ever be 0 unless the person literally did not leave bed all day.0

Anywhere between 150 - 1000 cals depending what my workout is on a particular day.1 -
On average 150-500 with purposeful exercise depending on what I'm doing. 1,000+ on long rides.0

My actual workouts burn 200-1,500 calories (depending on how long my run is). Most days that means I'm using about 2,000-2,200 calories each day once everything (exercise, BMR, other activity) is accounted for.0

4 hours cross country skiing yesterday followed by 2 hours on the bike. The sun was out which is rare in the winter here. Fantastic day. Today it will be 8 hours of being at work and 1 lifting heavy things in the gym.0

Usually 300 calories +/- 50, from a typical spin class or rowing machine/rowing shell workout. (Anything from zero exercise calories to lots is possible, if I do something unusual. ).
I'm 5'5", weight mid-130s (pounds), maintaining, age 63, TDEE somewhere in the low to mid 2000s, based on almost 4 years of MFP logging experience. I've been active for a decade plus; estimated calories were around 30% higher for the same activities 4 years or so ago when I weighed 30% more.0 -
The Apple Watch isn't just estimating exercise but to answer your question.....
Roughly 500 / day on average from cycling, plus very roughly 100 / day on average from strength training over course of a year.
Variations per day are massive though from 0 to very rarely about 4500.0
