I put in some of my weight lifting workouts and it doesn't count any calories lost for them. Any one know what's up with that?

I found that when I first started tracking on MFP - I think it's just the way it works. However, when scrolling through options under Cardio for the different speeds I walk at and then crosstrainer (elliptical), rowing machine etc, I found a 'weights' entry. Now I put my weights workouts in the cardio section rather than the strength one.

Use the Cardio section and log "strength training."

If you put it in the cardio section, it'll give you some calories to eat back. Thanks to Quiksylver for the correct thing to look for though - it is indeed Strength Training, not Weights.

It will look like this and your daily goal will increase.
Your cals/min will be different to mine unless you happen to weigh exactly the same.
