I've seen the question about music posed a few times here so I figured why not just have 1 thread with high energy, toe-tapping, get up and shake your butt music!

Just post the artist and song. Let's keep the list to dance, techno, high-energy music.

Here's some:

DJ Dero - Do The Rave Stomp
Martin Solveig Dragonette - Hello
Pink - Raise Your Glass (remix)
LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem
Lady Gaga - Bad Romance (remix)
Flo Rida feat. David Guetta - Club Can't Handle Me
Amber - Sexual
The Movement - Jump!

A good type of high energy music to run to is Hardstyle ! (like a hard trance/techno) ! It might sound a bit crazy if you're not used to it but it keeps me running past my otherwise 'give up point'.

Good sample song to try would be D-Block and S-Te-Fan - Music Made Addictz

yes im afraid katie parry doesnt classify as 'techno' or even high energy.

i just listen to di.fm , lock it on the hardcore station during my workouts FYI - usually in the 140-200 bpm (beats per minute) range. the electronic music genre can be divided into a plethora of sub-categories (trance, vocal trance, chillout, house, hard dance, eurodance, progressive, hardcore, lounge, ambient, drum 'n base, techno, soulful house, electro house, tribal house, funky house, and many many more) so to group all of these together is an electronic music sin :P

having said that my current pump up song is:
sak noel - loca people (wtf)

    @kapeluza, you like tiesto?

i used to be a huge fan - i first started listening to the magik series in 2001 and went to see him live in 2002 (saw him live 3 times until he threw a huge tantrum fit at a local club, and vowed to never return haha). his parties were legendary , i really think this is the time trance peaked (some in europe would say trance peaked in the mid-late 90's with the likes of sasha, ferry corsten, paul oakenfold etc etc) but the early 2000's was also a great time for trance...

but gone are those days :(..

I'll go through my ipod later and edit this, sorry.

Heck yeah I do!!! We are big fans! I saw him recently in Austin and I saw him in 2008 in Houston! If you haven't been to a Tiesto concert than you haven't lived! =P That I what I tell people!

I'm into Mt. Eden (dubstep act from New Zealand) right now. Found them on Youtube of all places! Some good songs to check out are Still Alive, When Will the Storm Begin, Sierra Leone and Escape.

My bad, ya'll are right. BUT, to my defense: I was listening to Pandora and they were playing a high-energy remix. I didn't think about the song in its published, radio play form.
