This weeks challenges: I binged this week, for the first time in months. I was feeling very depressed and out of control, and ate a bunch of crap over 4 days. I found it hard to get back into a place where I felt in control.
This weeks successes: I did get back into control. I gave myself a huge kick in the butt, reigned in my eating, and put myself back on track. And somehow lost weight this week. Not sure how. Maybe because I've been doing so well for such a sustained period of time, my body recognised the junk and worked against it, does that happen? I don't know. Still, back on track. I found a new goal to work towards, and that helped.2 -

I love seeing the progress everyone is making. It might be a pound or it might be just logging in and pressing on. This is a life change. I will never be able to just eat what I want. I must be conscious of every thing that goes into my body. I must keep my body moving every day. I find encouragement from reading everyone post.
Every day I talk to my Mom for an hour. We live 1100 miles apart. She is 89 with dementia. We have the same conversation every day. I love this hour. I pray each night that my mind and body remain healthy until the end.
Keep your momentum going and pull from others when it lags. We can do this together.4 -

This week's successes: I still lost over half a pound and I'll take every ounce I can. I made it to the gym to do strength training and x-training. I also ran 3 days this week, even though I had to do it on a treadmill because of the cold temps and new snow.
This week's challenges: I had two pretty bad days where I was constantly snacking, but then I got back on track. It's always a challenge when we have tasty snacks in the house.

I’ve upped my protein goal. I’m loosing weight inMUCH smaller increments but according to my scale, I’m loosing less muscle which is good.
I can’t seem to cut the fat as much as I’d like but am reminding myself that i don’t have the time money or energy to tackle everything at once so no worries, will get to reducing fat intake while keeping up protein intake all in good time.5 -
