It’s been a REALLY long time since I’ve been in the forums.
Anyway I’m Valerie. 38yr old female from NWIndiana. I have been on MFP for about 4 years- on and off.
I’ve lost 75lbs, and I have a goal of 20lbs more. I work long 10-12 hr days, plus have a household and family to maintain- so I really only get to the gym 3 days a week. I love cardio, and I’m just starting to reintroduce weights into the mix. I’m horrible at clean eating, and I love food. I’d rather have a little indulgence and work out harder vs cutting anything out.
Looking to gather some more friendly support.

I used to hate the thought of clean eating but making my own over time I have learnt what I like and what I dont, especially how you can vary chicken.0

I can't stand the term "clean eating". It doesn't really mean anything and implies that not eating within certain restrictive rules is "dirty". Nobody wants to eat "clean" 100% of the time anyway, and it's totally possible to have a healthy lifestyle that includes all different kinds of foods, and even some fast food and processed foods, because this is real life! Rant over.0

Hello and welcome! I'm also in NW Indiana. I am 36 and also work long hours. I just now started to try and squeeze in gym time. Where do you workout at?0

Hi all!!!! I'm also back after a bit of a hiatus. I'm always looking for new friends to play with and work hard with. I'm interactive and love other's who are as well. I work hard and would love to have some hardworking friends to cheer on.0

Yo. 75lbs is no joke. Great job. I'm back on here after losing 60 and then gaining back 15. In the interim, had a fight with cancer (fought to a draw) and am back on the fitness train, trying to eat healthy and getting my workouts in. Good luck!1

Hi! I've been on here sporadically for a few years. I make some progress and then I stop. I'm back at it again. My son is in boot camp and it would be great to go to his graduation looking like I've made some progress. I work 12 hour shift 3-4 days a week. I have a 2nd job working one day a week, have a very active teen, and am in school for my graduate degree. I'd love to have some friends again! I got locked out of my old account so I just made a new one but now I don't have any friends on here and I could definitely use the motivation!0
