So I’m a size XS uk 6/8 in clothing yet my face is really fat and chubby.it looks ridiculous compared to my body size. It gets me down because I just feel very ugly because of it. Anyone know any tips or tricks that can help me reduce the fat in my face. Thanks. I will include pics to show the difference between my face compared to my body

You can't dictate where you want fat to come off from...7

^ this. And you're adorable. We're our own worst critics.7 -
@cwolfman13 I’m not. But if there is a way to lose fat from your stomach or your legs there has to be a way to lose it from your face aswell. Was just asking for advice.9

There isn't a way to spot reduce from anywhere on your body. You can only lose overall and genetics determines where it comes from.11 -

No...you can't spot reduce fat...that's not how it works. No particular exercise will reduce fat in a particular area. Genetics determines where you lose and gain fat first and last. If you could spot reduce belly fat with abdominal and core exercises, I'd look like a Greek God by now after all these years.4 -
You look truly wonderful! You just have a round face, you can't really change that. It doesn't look fat or chubby.
You might try getting some expert make up advice if you want to create a different look.5 -
There are many different face shapes. All of them are perfectly fine and proportional to the bodies they belong to.
Your face is round and perfectly lovely.

You're really pretty!
The shape of your face is determined by genetics, so it is what it is. Maybe splurge on a visit to a really skillful hair dresser and ask them to create a hair style that will frame your face in a way that's most flattering. Hair can make a surprising amount of difference.5 -
First of all, your face is adorable!
And like everyone said, it's all about genetics. I have an oval face, so even though it gets puffy when I'm overweight, that's the first part of my body that gets leaner when I start losing weight. I would love to see it come off my belly first, but ah well.

If it bothers you that much, I'm sure there are make-up tricks that could make your face look slimmer, but like everyone else has already said: 1. You can't spot reduce, 2. Genetics and most importantly 3. you look fine, your face doesn't look fat or chubby.0

You got a great face0

You are beautiful! Also, I think you may appreciate having a youthful face as you age. You may never have a gaunt face. Fantastic!2

Yes, this...I have an elongated face...something in between the oval and the heart. I hated it when I was younger and really, if I get too lean I look a bit gaunt in the face. We're all our worst critic.0 -
This bothered me too, so I Googled it. I will link the article at the bottom.
"For a weight change to show up on your face, you’d need to change your BMI by 1.33 points, the study found."
SW: 140 lbs, BMI 24.8
Going by the article, which I had no idea of the accuracy, I'd need to reduce my BMI to 23.5 in order to see any change in my face. I immediately took some selfies while holding the camera at a certain angle and standing on a certain floor tile. This was so that I could try and duplicate the photo exactly, later, and then do a side-by-side comparison.
I calculated where my weight would need to be to see a difference and got 132.5 lbs for a BMI of 23.5. Then I lost weight using MFP.
CW: 131.2
I can tell you that my face did change when my trending weight was between 132 - 132.5. I can see it in the mirror, I can see it in the pictures, and my mother and my husband can see it. It's not very much but there is a difference.
My next breakpoint is at roughly 22.1 BMI, which would be a weight of 124.5 for me.
Conclusion: you can lose weight from your face, but not on purpose, it will just happen as you lose weight.
If it bothers you, you can also do calculations to see what weight to aim for. I consider these breakpoints to be mini-goals on my weight loss journey. While my original goal was 120 lbs, the breakpoint after 124.5 for me is 117.7 so when I get to 120, I plan to re-evaluate and see if I want to go to 117. 117 is still well within my healthy range.

Didn't you post exactly this in December and get all the same answers, that it's not possible to target the face and you're pretty so don't worry about it?9

Your face is not fat and chubby; it's just round. Lots of people have round faces and are beautiful (like you are). Google it.1

You have a lovely face you're gorgeous!

Pinch your cheeks for swelling, perhaps?0 -

theres NOT
a calorie deficit is what is required to lose fat, and only your body decides where it takes the fat from.
your face is fine.2 -
People are getting surgeries to look like that. Volume is good I wouldn’t consider it fat or chubby.3

I dunno coz I lost the password to my old account. And couldn’t remember if I had posted it before or not. I think you look lovely. Are you aware that that some celebrity women have cheek implants to look like you, because staying in the Hollywood weight zone makes them unfashionably thin in the face?
No one gets to lose weight from the body parts they choose.
I think you should look at yourself in the mirror and think, 'Damn, she looks good'. As that's easier said than done, what about a consultation with professional make-up artist? Get advice on what you can do to downplay the features you don't like.3 -
What they all said. Plus you have a very pretty face, you look amazing. Makeup (aka kardashian contouring skills lol) can help make it appear thinner if you want, but you don’t have to. Genetics determines this.
I have what I consider a large head and when I get too skinny my head looks like a lollipop top on my body, so I just take it for what it is, I can’t change it.0 -
I’ve found as I’ve aged I lose fat off the face quicker also I cut my carbs down as they bloat is x0
-
Believe me, as you age, you'll be happy for some fullness in your face.4
