Music playlist for running?

Looking for running music that is upbeat but doesn’t sound like exercise music if you know what I mean. Got any ideas ?

Eminem! “Till I collapse” is a very appropriate tune for that last push ;)

I had Little Lion Man (Mumford and Sons) stuck in my head for an entire hiking season.

What type of music do you usually listen to? My running playlist is just made up of upbeat songs that I typically listen to.

I like some techno in mine (strong steady beat) like Castles in the Sky. Second Imagine Dragons and Eminem, they are both on my playlist.

I spent a chunk of time sorting my music by BPM. I found a tool that would calculate it and add the info to the tags so I could see them in Windows. I then sorted them by BPM into folders so I can just load the music for the BPM I'm trying to hit to my earbuds and go.

When I get home I can find the name of the tool I used.

I listen to a wide variety of music, everything from Sinatra to Pitbull and for workouts I mix it up according to the stage im at: stretch, beast mode, cool down. Anxiety- Black Eyed Peas is one of my all time favorite tracks for full on workout mode. My Playlist is on another device, I'll try to remember to get it tomorrow. It's not for everyone though! Lol

Spotify has a great feature where it picks songs that match your pace when you run. It's usually a good mix of songs too.

Jogfm.com sorts music by bpm. you can put in your pace and it suggests songs, also some people have posted playlists for various distances.

Also rock my run is a good app (have to listen to an ad every 15 minutes or so if you don't want to pay for it). But it gives me good ideas for songs I then buy from apple to create my own playlists.

Are you an amazon prime member? you can choose just about any kind of music/station/artist and listen for free. You just download the song into your music and go.

It would depend on the genre you want to listen to. But I like anything by MitiS. He's like an electronic / house music artist but pretty much any of his music is great to listen to while running.

I don't run but do a lot of cardio on an Assault bike and Indoor rower. Same thing, though, needing playlists.

I have 3 different playlists. One for Long, slow days; one for days that's a bit faster and one that's really fast for speed work/intervals. I find it helps tremendously sorting them out by beats per minute. There are tons of sites out there that do that.

I finally just got tired of music on my long runs. Now I am listening to a variety of podcasts. I really like a lot of the content from "Food For Fitness" by Scott Baptie Might be an alternative for you...
