I'm Sam, I am 30 years old. I have always had trouble with my weight. I really want to lose weight and I have tried so many different things like slimming world and weight watchers even slim fast shakes. They work well for a few weeks then I get bored. I love food way too much. Need some help and support and any advice would be much appreciated :-)

you can lose weight by eating normal foods just in moderation to hit your calorie goal. no need to eliminate foods or categories, or eat only two things or shakes. normal food you love, in moderations. tweaking things to ensure you feel full (which will be different for everyone, some need more carbs, others more fat, i like bulking with more low cal veggies for quantity).
weight/measure your food and log.3 -
Try eating "real" food. Follow your macros. Skinnytaste.com is one website geared towards weight watchers, but has a lot of good recipes that are just as good for a general healthy eating lifestyle. Be sure you weigh everything you consume in grams, and log it all. Get some exercise, any kind you like, and log that too. Start small with both eating and moving and work your way to your goal slowly but surely.
You've already indicated what you've tried that doesn't work (isn't sustainable), but if you move more and eat less, you will absolutely lose weight. If you eat nutritious food, you'll feel better than eating the same calories in twinkies, or frankenfood. You get to choose how to use your calories in a way that works for you. I have a candy bar every night because I can't imagine a world without chocolate. You may love something else, and can include that in your daily calories.
You can do it!1 -
We all love our food and most of us have tried various ways of losing weight.
That is why calorie counting is so great (for me anyway) I can eat the foods I love as long as they fit my calorie goal and never get bored.
Keep to your calorie goal consistantly, keep logging honestly, keep eating nice things, throw in some exercise for fitness and you will lose weight.2 -
Weigh and measure all your food choices, enter everything you eat. I personally like to plan my meals out for the day. I'll edit my diary if my plan didn't work out as soon as I can. But entering my plan for the day helps me keep on track and stay with in the right calories for the day. Also if you have an off day, don't quit forgive yourself and keep moving forward towards a healthy lifestyle! Wishing you lots of success!0

Eat food you like, just in amounts that put you in a calorie deficit. Plus some fruit and veg for health.1
