However, in 2002, David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar went on tour together. "The Sam and Dave Tour". Wife, daughter and I went. We had a great time, but DLR was a caricature of his former self. Got too drunk, couldn't sing, went out of his way to be confrontational with his fans. Sammy , on the other hand, sounded great and saved the show.
When DLR was with.VH then he was the man ...I love Sammy Hagar too...but hearing him sing what I think of as DLR songs just don't do it for me...still Sammie is amazimg!!! Good analysis two different bands!😎🤗0 -

Graham Bonnet or Joe Lynn Turner?
Ian Gillan or David Coverdale?
Peter Green or Lindsay Buckingham?
Syd Barrett or Roger Waters?
Tom Johnston or Michael McDonald?
Peter Green, without a doubt. Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac was the best version. I met Mick Fleetwood recently and told him so.
You're my idol now!!! Peter Green all the way😍0 -

That movie is right up there with The Godfather for quotability.
Omg you're telling me. And for the longest time I had a crush on Nigel.

Better than having a crush on Fredo I suppose.
