Hi everyone, we had a great response so I'm excited to get started tomorrow! I found my copy and it's sitting next to the DVD player ready to go tomorrow! Remember, it's only about 20-25 minutes and you get mega calorie burn!
Here is what I thought we would report every monday:
1) Weight and measurements
2) Comments (The good, the bad, the ugly!) Try to keep any moans and groans light hearted.
3) NSV (non scale victories) - this could include clothes fitting better, not wanting that second peice of whatever your trigger food is, or any compliments you receive.
Good luck and I will "see" you tomorrow!

I am going to bump this thread because today was my DAY 5!!
I'd like to see what others say about 30DS!0 -
I will join you. However, I will be doing the first workout tonight. I try to exercise in the AM and can just never do it. Guess I am an evening gal! Excited to join and see what results we all get!!0

I've only done 5 days, so I'd love to still be apart of this group, if you'll have me! I might take a bit longer on Level 1 anyway...depends on my knee. Would love to offer support!0

Sounds great!! Can't wait till tomorrw!!!!0
-
I wanna join! I am horrible at staying motivated tho so feel free to kick my rear in gear!0
-
I've read alot about the 30 Day Shred on MFP. Think I'll walk quickly to the store tomorrow to purchase and join you. What all should I expect; being older, overweight and bad knees I struggle with many of the exercise programs. But I'm ready to give it a try!0
-
Ohhhh ya! I was planning to start tomorrow, so can I get in also ?!!0
-
I'll join, just purchased this and was going to start tomorrow.0
-
Can I join you all?? I stared yesterday and just finished up Day 2 of level 1.
For those of you who do not have the DVD, you can purchase the program on Amazon's instant movie thing for less than $9.0 -
Would it be alright if I join you all? It's unlikely I'll be able to do it everyday but I plan to do at least 5 days a week and would love to share motivation (and possible ouchies!) with everyone0

I'm in!!! I was planning on starting tomorrow anyway and just stumbled across the group. I don't keep up on the forums every day though, so we either need to have one thread that I can go back to, or someone is going to have to let me know where to find it or I'll never be able to keep up!0

I'm in. I've been toying with starting anyway! Thanks for the extra push!!! Go get it gals (and any guys?)!0

I think most people are putting it under circuit training. Don't know how closely they are related calories burnt wise to make that much of a difference though. Might want to check and if they are pretty close, use whatever you want.0 -
Bump! I just got this DVD in from Netflix. I plan on the first workout tonight. Will post stats later after work!0

1) So today I'm 197.4. My measurements are:
Bicep 12
Chest 45
Waist bb 43.5 (bb=around the belly button)
Waist pl 44 (pl=pants line...almost right above the hips)
Hips 45
Thigh 23
Calf 16
Neck 14
2) Comments: I just did L1D6. It is getting easier! The initial jumping jacks/jump rope is very hard for me, but by the time we do them again at the end of the workout, I can do them SO much easier! The bicycle crunches STILL kill me! Simply cannot finish them all...just move into a regular crunch.
3) NSV: Was told today by a platonic male friend how good I'm looking, a female friend told me my eyes looked beautiful today (probably doesn't have anything to do with weight loss, but still nice!), and the old comfy boxer shorts I've been having and wear to bed a lot are currently falling off my butt!
So how did everyone that did Day 1 go?! I'd love to hear your stories!0 -

I would love to join. Today will be day3 on L1.0

Can I join in? I started a couple of days ago - Day 5 of Level 1 tonight
I found that I was really sore on the morning after my first go - ached in places I didn't know had muscles!! And that teaches me to think I'm farily fit just because I run quite a lot... I forced myself through day 2, though getting up and down off the floor was the hardest bit because my legs ached so much, but by day 3 and 4 it was getting easier even though I still ached. I did a 5k run on the day between workout 2 and workout 3 though, so that might have helped ease the muscles!
I'm using 1.5 kilo weights by the way, what are other people using?
I forgot to take starting measurements for my hips, waist etc but I'll do those tonight - do people use inches or cm on here?
My starting weight for the 30DS was 141 pounds.
Good luck everyone!0 -
Ooh can I join please? I started 30DS a couple of days ago but I haven't completed a whole routine yet (I have M.E/CFS so I have to be careful) I am up to 20 minutes though so maybe today will be the day?! Anyway, it would be a great help to know that others are in the same boat.
I am finding it very hard on my knees though and I'm not sure if that is down to my health or my weight, any one else over 200lbs (I am 210lbs) finding it tough on their knees?
Good luck everyone!0
