This week's successes: Planned hike & walks while out of town. Ate at restaurants all weekend and kept to portion control and healthier selections. Slipped up on chips and alcohol. Tracking streak on MFP since 12/28!
This week's challenges: Stress from wrapping up transitioning my job before retiring Jan 31 in addition to family interactions with DH’s brother & sister-in-law. Challenge myself to 70k steps this week.5 -

Hi everyone my struggles this week was making sure I walked at least 5 days a week for 60 minutes.
My success is not drinking yesterday. And only having one glass of wine the day before.
I also am being 100% honest with myself and forgiving myself often!

- I walked, ran or stair climbed 30.7 miles this week, (2 runs). I have done 1-2 yoga workouts 6 days and strength training ~2 days.
- I may increase my weekly miles goal.

- I've been feeling not quite fully healthy off and on. A touch of nausea here, a deep muscle pain there, a few headaches and some disruption of sleep. I want to blame it on the weather's constant flux.

I have 55 lbs pounds to lose for my son’s wedding in May 2020.
I realise to be successful long term is slow & easy. I've did many quick fix diets which you never maintain but hopefully this time is different. My main goal is to remain focused on a healthy lifestyle. Snacking mainly on fruit and have 3 balanced meals per day with limited alcohol only on special occasions and not every week. Luckily i enjoy the gym & plan to go to exercise classes 4-5 days per week.
Started this challenge on week 3.
