Hiya
I’ve been tracking my calories for a week and have lost 5lb which I’m amazed at, but as a paramedic I find it hard to eat all my calories! Can I carry them forward to use on a night out!?
Many thanks
Jacqui

In the app you can see your weekly goal if you click the nutrition button.

I eat 100-200 cals under Monday to Thursday so I can eat more at the weekend.1 -
For cryin' out loud, I've been doing this wrong (for me) this whole time! I would beat myself up whenever I had an off weekend day and it would be that much harder for me to recommit. But I knew there were a few times at least where had I paid attention to my weekly goal, I'd have been in good shape.
Thanks for asking this. It's something I never even thought to ask. The more you know...6 -
Just agreeing with the others. I follow a weekly calorie goal. Some days over, some under and it balances out. No problems losing or maintaining.0

I never knew this existed. This will be helpful on weekends when I feel like giving up!0

I think this is a good way of looking at things. If I do a big workout one evening it’ll generate a tonne of exercise calories earned but of course I have a regular meal then go to bed and don’t eat any more, it’s the next day that I’m really hungry and need those calories but if you’re recovering from the workout then ironically you’re likely to be less active and therefore ‘earn’ less calories to eat that day. Looking at things over the week would allow this to balance out.0
