Bananas and peanut butter are one of my favourites.
I like peanut butter on anything !
but I dont eat a lot of it, as I know its not the best for you.0 -
Personally I'm not crazy about that white bread and would prefer a multigrain or whole wheat, but definitely not a bad lunch0
-
yummy0

PB is actually quite good for you! It has fats, but they're good fats. That is, if you eat the all natural stuff, which a lot of brands are coming out with now.0 -
Oh GOD i love nannas and peanut butter i drizzle a little honey on mine as well looks yummy0

Girl! You gotta get rid of that white, bleached-of-all-nutrients-bread!!! Great meal otherwise, but that stuff is toxic for your body!0 -
I would have chosen 12 grain bread (my favourite) but white was my only option today as its the only bread I have, and I have no store near me to walk to and buy some.0
-
Sometimes I skip the bread and just put the peanut right on the banana.0
-
awesome food and really helathy plus very delicious
i always prefer apple as a snack cuz its good and fills my tummy quite fast and banana is great and i looove peanut butter
and carrots are great too0 -
Way to many carbs for me....0
-
Sounds delicious. I love white bread
Today I had a cheeseburger (no bun), salad, and coleslaw. Mmmmmm0 -
I would only be weary of the peanut butter due to the sugar content. I love PB too...and it has good protein, etc. Generally the sugar content in it is fairly high. If you are like me and avoiding that kind of thing keep an eye on the labels and maybe find an all natural low sugar solution if yours isn't already one. Veggies are good though!0

that looks very healthy keep it up.0

Carbs - all the carbs in my lunch (other than the breads) are healthy carbs, so they dont bother me.
Bread - I only eat 2-3 times a week, and normally its not white.
PB - I eat rarely, and when I do its never a lot.
So im happy with my lunch.
Just thought id share how I got full and satisfied .0 -
I love peanut butter and banana sandwiches! Depending on what I have for dinner I'll have one for "dessert" on either white or wheat bread, depending on the carbs I've had for the day. And I think peanut butter is TOTALLY fine to have, I do at least once a day. If you're worried about the sugar at all there's always the low or no sugar options Great meal, sounds and looks delicious.
Cute dog, BTW0 -

while you may consider them "healthy" carbs, they will leave you in an afternoon slump. By my calculations, you are consuming just over 100 carbs in your lunch. That is way too many for 1 meal. You should aim for about 40-45g carbs per meal.0 -

Yum! I do this too! Although I buy freshly ground almond butter or freshly ground peanut butter. They are both great (no added sugar or salt) and you can also make your own.0 -
Cashew butter is great too for a change.
I eat peanut butter regularly, love it on a crispy tpasted mini bagel with my breakfast, it satisfies my need for creamy and crunchy all in one bite! lol0 -

Peanut butter banana sandwiches are AMAZING. I have it on Ezekiel bread to up the protein/whole wheat and it is amazing. I usually toast the bread too.0
-
For me its great except for the white bread. I would at least need it toasted or a subsitution of a heartier bread.0
-
I didn't read everybody's responses, but the lunch looks healthy minus the white bread. I would just put the peanut butter on the apple. I LOVE peanut butter and apple. The only way that I eat apples now:-) Keep up the good work with your food choices!!!0

Agreed. Get that white crap utta there and your on the right track ... and swapping out the peanut for almond butter wouldn't hurt either0 -
doggy!!!!!!!0

I have never seen almond butter. I may have to check that out :-)0

Dont stress about what everyone else thinks of carbs, sugar, white bread or anything else. One white bread sandwich isn't doing you any damage! I think its a great lunch, and hell its ten hundred times better than a meal from maccas or something! Great job0
