If you find a solution do share with me. ...I just try to keep certain calories towards end of the day for my chocolate. ...1

Individually wrapped dark chocolate squares work for me.1 -
I've found that small amounts of better quality dark chocolate work for me. A couple of things I like are 85% dark chocolate shaved over an almond milk latte with cinnamon, and cacao powder with orange extract and raspberries mixed into Greek yogurt. Cacao powder is great stuff, for ten calories you can turn anything into a chocolate flavored treat.2

Don't deprive yourself. Eat it if you want it. Just be mindful of your choices and calorie allotment.1

I'm trying to keep my carbs to 5% of my daily intake. It is possible, with planning, caution, and a little bit of glorious indulgence, to have a small piece of chocolate each day.2

I have been starting my day with chocolate almond milk some MCT oil and vanilla flavored protein. Im not going to lie to you and say that its a Milky Way bar but its not bad and it helps control those cravings. Just believe in yourself and go after your goals with no excuses. You got this!3

I know your feeling! I fit dark chocolate in my daily dairy. I love eating dark chocolate with almonds frozen yogurt and dark chocolate small candy bar pieces! i also eat chocolate protein shakes which cure my fix 2!1

eat it. I eat chocolate daily. If I don't, there is a giant bag of mini eggs in my future... A.WHOLE.BAG. I love chilly cow brownie batter ice cream bars (110 calories) and I have recently discovered OCHO organic chocolate bars. My favorite is the PB&J (210 calories...they are small) They aren't cheap, but that reinforces that they are a treat. Also, my son came home with a Charleston Chew the other day, we freeze them, and I was surprised how low the calories were.

Pre Log your day to include some chocolate1 -
I use Vega Protein and Greens or Vegansmart Nutritional Shake Powders for banana/soy milk/protein powder/cocao shakes. Even in winter, I like them with frozen banana, and only sometimes add sweetener, depending on the ripeness of banana and sweetness of the protein powder. Since I love chocolaty stuff, I add 2 tablespoons Hershey's unsweetened cocao whether I'm using Vanilla or Chocolate protein powder. According to the label, the Hershey's cocao gives me 20% of my iron and 4 g fiber for 20 calories (2 servings). Presumably it gives antioxidants since it's not Dutch Process, but it is a bit bitter on its own. I also use it for hot cocao, with a bit of cinnamon and hint of cayenne added. If you use soy milk, a large hot cocoa gives plenty of protein and chocolatey goodness for not many calories, depending on sweeteners chosen.
A number of the Endangered Species chocolate bars are vegan, and satisfying even in small amounts. I also like the Zing Dark Chocolate Mint bars (vegan plus soy and gluten free, 10 g protein) for being pretty chocolatey, not just sweet. Their ingredient list is healthier than most bars, so they're my current favorite among bars.
I saw the protein powders I mentioned at CVS, the grocery store, and Amazon, so they're easy to find, and good for the shakes the other posts suggested. They're primarily pea protein, but the Naturade Vegansmart has some other less common proteins, like chia. They're the best vegan protein powders I've tried, especially for chocolate shakes.
I've been a "healthy weight" vegetarian for over thirty years, and vegan about five, and have never had trouble fitting chocolate into my diet.1 -
Thank you for this I have screenshotted most of this info so I know exactly what to get!!!I'm sure being vegan the weight will drop off eventually I just want to give it a bit of a kick start and the sooner the better I say!!just takes a little more research when you have a huge sweet tooth 😁0

being vegan has nothing to do with losing weight, its all about your calorie deficit.0 -
I definitely think it's a healthier way of eating compared to what I use to eat and since being vegan I have lost quite a bit not saying that that's the reason I did it simply that it is a benefit I personally have experienced.......0

I like chocolate. Just can't eat it as a meal. Watching calories is key to dropping the weight.1

I love chocolate. I`m not going to make myself miserable to lose weight and want to practice good habits i will keep during "maintenance" soo...
I eat chocolate 1-2x daily. every day. I eat smaller amounts, pick which ones I personally find "worth the calories" and fit them into my daily calorie limit.
I`ve lost 43lbs since April doing this (including working thru the difficult last 15 which I am nearly done with). Previously I lost 100lbs on two occassions this way.
Initially I relied heavily on individually wrapped items to make it easier to stop. with practice i find myself able ot have various lindt bars around the house and weigh out the right portion when i eat them. this took months to get there.3
