Hi everyone,
I just recently started listening to a podcast that really has confirmed a lot of my choices and things I've learned over this weight loss journey. I wish I had listened to this earlier but it's not too late, but I have made mistakes in the beginning and now I am doing the right things.
The podcast is here: http://www.fat2fitradio.com/subscribe/ you do not need to have an ipod to listen to it. So far they are all fantastic segments with excellent information and they discuss a lot of the things on here that we debate about with nothing to actually back it up or give the correct information. People write emails into the show and it all sounds too familiar.
In particular though, you MUST listen to podcast #83 - why you need to eat more to weigh less. Upping my caloires was the best thing I ever did, but I only fully understood it after listening to this episode.It talks about why eating less than your BMR is the stupidest thing you can do, and why 1200 calorie diets are just another fad (which is what MFP does too).
It's only about a half hour - we all have a 1/2 hour for our health. LISTEN TO IT! and all the others. SO GOOD!
Please please please listen to it. We need to do this weight loss right and for life.
