You need a reason to hate your life watch something called The Battery (2012). This movie will push the bile to very tip of your tongue. I am considering electroconvulsive therapy to erase the memories of this trauma.

I saw it in theaters and I couldn’t help but laugh when the whole audience burst into tears

I am with you on this one. Not *terrible* but I'm so confused by people saying how it's the greatest. It felt four hours long, too.

The Princess Bride. I don't even hate it but I don't understand the obsession.

I loved the first movie, The Matrix
but I think every sequel that came after it is garbage.
  • Fight Club. Tried to watch it twice and both times I couldn't get more than 10 minutes into without losing all interest.

I've watched The Big Lebowski a couple of times and still don't see why it has such a big cult following.

Most Will Ferrell movies are unwatchable to me.

The Departed is ok, but waaaaaaay overrated.

Anything with Jim Carrey in it
That other thing - Castaway I think - the one with the floating ball Wilson? ugh. Actually, most things with Tom Hanks = ugh too
Titanic. Never managed to watch the whole thing. ever. I tried very hard once and ended up falling asleep about 5 minutes before the end when they are floating around in the ocean on a door (becuase a door can't hold up 2 people now can it?)

The newer Mad Max movie... Dumb to the point where I didn't even care about the well shot action. I just wanted it to end.

Same. Everyone in the audience clapped at the end, and my friends and I wondered if we were watching the same film.

A Star is Born (all of them, but especially the Bradley Cooper & Lady Gaga one)

The music is wretched to me, and I like most of Lady Gaga's music normally. But that movie, ugh.
