Calculating caloric target

Hi all,
I'm looking to gain lean muscular mass and the app based on my input recommends me to increase my intake to 3k calories. The challenge I have with this is there's no way for me to input the fact I'm going to the gym every day and therefore burning through a good number of calories.
Should I follow the 3k recommendation or is there a better way to calculate this?
Thanks

Strength training is in the cardio database0

You set the site to how much you want to gain per week and set the activity level to reflect your daily activity outside of exercise. Then, you add in your exercise as you go and eat those calories as well.0

What I do.....
Started with the recommendation calories.
Track your weight and calories and After 1 week see if you have gained any muscle/weight.
1 week generally is not enough time to get enough data and it took me about 3 weeks of tracking my calories in conjunction with my workouts to narrow down my calories to figure out what my number was with my exercises. Hope that makes sense.0
