Hit weight goal but l....

I have hit my weight loss goal of 8 and a half stone thinking that would make me happy. But while I am happy with the scale i still have a lot of fat. I don't really want to loose much more weight but want to shift the fat. HELP

I've been doing sort or resistance training like squats, push ups etc and have recently started using some of the weight machines at the gym. Im hoping that buildin some muscle will help burn the fat ?0
