What about the corn do you think would be bad for weight loss? As long as you weigh it and know how many calories of it you are eating it will not make you gain weight if you stick to your calorie goal! 100 kcal of corn on the cob and 100 kcal of kale will have the same effect on your weight, it’s the calories not the type of food that is important

Too much of anything is generally not good.

Calorie deficit to lose weight, eat corn if it fits your calories and macros.

I think it's completely irrelevant to weight loss or weight management in general. There's no one in particular food that causes weight gain or inhibits weight loss. Consuming calorie in excess of what you need to maintain the status quo leads to weight gain. If you're consuming fewer calories (energy) than your body needs, your burn stored fat (energy) to make up the difference and thus lose weight...corn or no corn.

    What is "too much"?

For weight loss, calories matter, so is the corn causing you to go over calories? Do you add butter (or anything else) to the corn and log it?

If you are within your calories, getting enough protein, and eating an overall balanced diet without being hungry, how much corn you eat will not matter.

If it fits in your calories and isn't crowding out other foods you need or want, it's fine.
If you're eating so much corn that you are not getting enough protein or fat or variety, or it is pushing you over in calories, then it's too much. :drinker:
